[Ingredients]

Banlangen (Isatidis Radix). Excipients: Dextrin and cyclamate.

[Description]

This product is light brownish-yellow to brownish granules; slightly bitter in taste.

[Functions and Indications]

Clear heat and detoxify, cool blood and soothe the throat. Used for sore throat, dry mouth and throat, and parotid swelling caused by lung-stomach heat excess; applicable to acute tonsillitis and mumps with the above symptoms.

3g per sachet (sugar-free)

[Usage and Dosage]

Take with boiled water. 3-6g (sugar-free) each time, 3-4 times a day.

[Precautions]

1. Avoid tobacco, alcohol, spicy, and fishy foods.

2. Do not take tonic Chinese herbs concurrently during medication.

3. Patients with severe chronic diseases such as hypertension, heart disease, liver disease, diabetes, or kidney disease should take under medical guidance.

4. Children, pregnant women, lactating women, the elderly, the infirm, and those with spleen deficiency and loose stools should take under medical guidance.

5. Patients with tonsillar suppuration or fever exceeding 38.5°C should seek medical attention.

6. If symptoms do not improve after 3 days of medication, consult a doctor.

7. Contraindicated in those allergic to this product; use with caution in allergic individuals.

8. Do not use if the product's characteristics change.

9. Children must use under adult supervision.

10. Keep out of reach of children.
